The Purtrex Depth filter is an aberrantly engineered invention in the area of filters, possessing extraordinary properties such as high purity, longer life and low replacement frequency. Purtrex Depth Filters work on the principle of blown microfiber technology which is patented by GE. This new kind of filter has been made to meet the market demands. Purtrex depth filters have an extraordinary dirt holding capacity and are made up of 100% pure polypropylene thus enhancing its durability.

Purtrex depth filter are easy to install as it doesn�t have to be penetrated into any material and does not contain any binder or antistatic agents and thus there is no need of pre rinsing. This saves a lot of labour, downtime and increases production time. Purtrex depth filters have a standard length that fits most housing. The water that it provides is 100% foam free and clean; this is a result of using 100% polypropylene. Pure polypropylene that is used in Purtrex filters is thermally bonded and does not release particles, keeping them trapped even under pressure. The outcome of Purtrex filter is thus consistent.

Purtrex depth filters have higher dirt holding capacity in comparison to other filters. This higher capacity is because of truly graded density because of which particles are captured throughout the depth of filters. Because of this Purtrex depth filters have long life and require almost no change-outs; making the filter more economical. The manufacturing process is assured to be reliable in performance. During the manufacturing process of Purtrex filters the debris is eliminated by using the process of thermal and vacuum finishing.

In domestic settings, the Purtrex depth filter is widely used to purify potable water.
