The Pentek R series sediment filter uses pleated design to maximize the capacity of holding dirt. The highly efficient cartridges use innovative polyester material for superior performances and are beneficial since it would not shrink, peel or detach. The Pentek R30-20 pleated sediment filter is known for its production of healthier and clearer water.

The polyester that is used in the manufacture of cartridges is durable and the media is bacterial and chemical resistant. The other material used in the manufacture of cartridges are much more durable when compared with other materials, they are non woven and reusable polyester fabrics that is suitable for a wide range of filtration uses.

The improved efficiency of Pentek R series sediment filter allows the durability of the filter and the significant drop in the flow rate. The materials used in the manufacture are safe, and many Pentek products are tested and certified by NSF international.

The 155416-43 R30-20 sediment filter uses the media that is pleated around the polypropylene core to provide additional strength, while its ends are immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol. The three components together form a unitized end cap by embedding and sealing. The overlapping of the seam is sonically welded in order to reduce the internal bypass and improve filtration efficiency.

The sole purpose of the pleated media is to maximize the dirt holding capacity and also to extend the duration between changes of cleaning. With this type of filter you do not have to bother much about the maintenance and cleaning. The Pentek R series sediment filters can be easily removed from its housing, cleaned and reused.

The nominal rating of micron of Pentek R30-20 is 30. The R series sediment removal cartridges are both resistant to bacteria and chemical attack, making the water suitable for use in varieties of residential, commercial and industrial applications.

The Pentek R30-20 pleated polyester cartridges 30 micron 20 inches can be used with all the Pentek filters housing along with other housing from another manufacturer that requires 20 inches filters length. It can be easily identified by the pleated design of polyester fabrics around the core.
