On Mar 2 '07, The USA Commerce Department issued it's final determination of sales at less than fair market value of activated carbon. Due to this final ruling the import tariffs have increased dramatically. Unfortunately most suppliers passed this major increase to distributors, and this needs to pass on to consumers. However, many of todays pricing are still unchanged, with full cases at almost no markup.
