The Pentek filter series comes in a wide range of sizes and styles and they are also well known for easy installation and maintenance. They always add value to the filter housing, system and cartridges, and increase the productivity and deceases downtime.

The Pentek DGD-5005 filter are made of 100% pure fibers. For superior performances the highly efficient filter cartridges uses the innovative polypropylene fibers. The fibers are carefully spun into two separate gradient density layers in order to enhance cartridge performance.

The Pentek DGD series eliminates the requirement of multiple housing step-down filtration system. The highly efficient filters with the innovative polypropylene fibers let to reduce fine dirt, sand, silt, sediment, rust particles and scale particles. The pure polypropylenes are specially constructed to resist the chemicals and corrosion; they are designed for purity, bacterial resistant, chemical resistant and are not prone to bacterial attack. The DGD series cartridges will not add to the filtered water any taste, odor or color.

The DGD 5005 is designed with advancement and is combined with final filtration and with appropriate pre filtration. In order to achieve the dirt holding ability of up to three times that the similar size sediment cartridges and several times more than the other string wound and standard spun cartridges.

The cartridges are provided with 50 micron pre filter sediment water filter layer and a 5 micron post filter medium-fine sediment water filter layer. The final outcome is only possible due to the separate gradient layer in one single filter. The greater diameter of the pro filter reduces the load of particle to the post filter, so that it can operate with higher velocities. The depth of the DGD series have been made more effective by increasing it to full 233 % compared to the other sediment filters. This increment has added high particulate reduction efficiency and added much loading ability.

The DGD-5005 is designed with two separate layer of gradient density that enhances cartridges performance. This filter type can be used will all the Pentek industries filter housing and housing of Big Blue and also with other manufactures that requires a full cylinder length of 10 inches x 4-1/2 inches width. It is easy to install in whole house system or any commercial filtration system.
