The Pentek 155405-43 S1-BB 20 micron medium filter is a proficient water filter which works effectively to remove sand, silt, sediments, scale particles as well as rust particles from the water that is meant specifically for drinking purposes.
The S1-BB filter comprises of pleated walls which result in increased dirt holding capacity of the water purifier. These cartridges would work great in chlorinated water, which is generally the case with tap water that is usually treated with chlorine in order to purify it.
The filter media of S1-BB filter is pleated around its core made from polypropylene. Due to this, the filter has additional strength and durability. Both its ends are submerged into the thermo-setting vinyl plasticol. The filter also comprises of an external sheath in the netted form which helps in retaining a uniform spacing for the pleats in both high flow as well as pulsating flow streams.
The S1 series filters are made up of a number of different materials, with each part being made from the best possible product material. The use of the correct material has brought about a massive change in the way water is filtered since a long time. These perfectly suited materials enable the end user to obtain pure and clear water after the process of filtration.
