Pleated cellulose cartridges comprises of highly efficient water filters. They are manufactured in a pleated cellulose design that works as the perfect medium of filtration. It maximizes the level of purity in the water that it emits after the process of filtration. Their pleated design helps in absorbing maximum amount of dust and dirt particles at its surface. These cartridges are best meant for nearly all general water purifying purposes.

If we pay attention towards its structure, we will discover that it has been designed in a very unique fashion. The medium of filtration, are pleated around the core of polypropylene that adds strength to the filter. Its end points are immersed into a thermo setting with vinyl plastisol. 155303-43 S1-20 is provided with the unique style of cartridges; each end point of all pleats are properly sealed and embedded. This setup of the pleats fuses all the three components together to form a gasket and a united end cap.

In order to keep the water clean and free from bacteria, chlorine is often added to it. The chemical reactions of chlorine help in killing the bacteria and other micro organism that are present in the water. Excessive intake of chlorine with water is unsafe for health as it can cause several serious diseases to the internal metabolism. Although not a carbon filter to remove chlorine, the S1-20 can withstand chlorine and last for a long time.

The S1-20 comes with an externally netted long covering of the cartridges. This sheath like covering helps in retaining the pleated cartridges with uniformity. This increases the performance of the filter and paces up the flow of the water. It also includes an overlapping seam that helps in reducing the bypass of external objects. All these efficiencies improve the filtration process.

S1 series cartridges are best for all general water cleaning purposes. They are affordable in price, and remove the sediments particles with double strength. These special cartridges are effective in removing impurities from water, installation of these cartridges helps to maximize the performance of the filter system.
