The Polypropylene wound water filter cartridges work effectively to reduce coarse sand, scale particles and rust from the filtered water. The Pentair CW-F is considered to be one of the best water filters in the CW/WP series that is made up of durable cords of the polypropylene filtering cartridges. This polypropylene cartridge basically has a rigidly bounded polypropylene core that results in its best quality. The use of these core cartridges is also an economically better for eliminating fine sediment from the purified water.

In economic terms, the 155186-43 CW-F filter is great as well, since its very low in price compared to other cartridges. The CW-F cartridges are quite economical and are wound around the core in a standard pattern. These are available in nominal 10 micron rating filtration. Being wound in a precise pattern, they have a greater surface area. This leads to a higher capacity of dirt loading as well as more efficiency than other standard 10 micron cartridges. The CW cartridges are perfectly suited for many varied sediment filtration applications, and can successfully filter municipal and well water. It can even filter a number of industrial fluids. The CW-F filter can withstand temperatures up to 165° Fahrenheit.
