The Pentek P25 has a coreless strength which is achieved due to its solid construct of the polypropylene fibers. One of the important things to keep in mind is that the user has to keep the Pentek P25 filters away from microbiologically unsafe water or any liquid with inadequate prior disinfection.

Among the basic specifications of the Pentek P25 are its dimensions of 9-3/4'' by 2-3/8'' or 248 mm by 60 mm. The recommended temperature for its use is between 40 °F to 145 °F or 4.4 °C to 62.8 °C. It also has a good flow rate of 0.2 per square inch @ 5 gallons per minute. These features, combined with the polypropylene fiber frame, enable it to maintain purity for the water.
