The Pentek 155162-43 CBC-10 sediment water filter is manufactured using the carbon block design that is unique in structure and produces healthier and better tasting water. The cartridges give high efficiency and are made with the help of a patented process. They are also very efficient for removal of unwanted taste, color and odor from the potable water. The carbon blocks which are unique in their structures have the capacity to remove the finest sediment and allows long filter run with low pressure rate. The materials that are used in the manufacture of the CBC series cartridges are approved by FDA and are certified by NSF. They can be easily removed from their housing, to be replaced. This has made the Pentek CBC series one of the most cost effective models in the market.

The Pentek CBC-10 water filter cartridges are the most ideal choice for most of the range of commercial, industrial and residential applications. They make up for an excellent pre filter and polishing filter for applications that require the best fine filtration and higher capacity. Based on several researches and manufacturers internal tests, it has been found that the Pentek CBC-10 have the capacity to remove 99.95% of Toxoplasma cysts, Giardia, Cryptosporidium from filtered water. It is recommended that water that is not provided with adequate disinfectant and is of unknown quality should not be used.

The Pentek CBC-10 sediment filter is specially designed to remove fine particles of carbons, but it might still contain some minute particles. When a new cartridge is installed it must be flushed with ample amount of water in order to remove the traces of fines from the water system.

The Pentek CBC-10 155162-43 10 inches long 0.5 micron filter comes with carbon block designs so that it can be easily identified. This type of filter can be easily used in any water filter housing for 10 inch water filter cartridges.
