A carbon block filter certified and tested to reduce chlorine taste and odor from your water, leaving it absolutely pure and drinkable. It is better known as The Workhorse, 20 inch Big Blue filter, i.e. it has a heavy duty dimension that will fit in the large and wide housings for drinking water filters. The filter is made with such an advanced method that it can easily reduce chlorine, taste/odor and sediment from the water. Like other Kx matrikx filters, it offers exceptional cost to performance value.

Matrikx 3242512520 water filters are also used for filtering organic solvents. This carbon CTO/2 filter has become an ideal product for residential and commercial water purification systems, and for food service applications as well. It has the capacity of 10 micron absolute filtration and 5 micron nominal filtration.

Some instructions are to be taken into consideration while using this filter such as it should be flushed for at least 5 minutes before consumption use. It must be used in water treatment systems only with micro biologically safe and adequately disinfected water because it is unable to detect all viruses and bacteria.

CTO/2 units are manufactured by applying the pattern of solid state extrusion process which allows the filter to reduce the concentration of impure stuff and makes water worth drinking. It has the capacity to absorb chemicals within itself. Depending on the water quality and usage, the carbon block filter should be changed after every 3 to 12 months.

The Work Horse chlorine and sediment filter has some special features like 5 micron (nominal) filtration, high absorptive capacity and is also among the most efficient sediment filters that have been launched into the market so far. Its performance is tested and verified by Independent Laboratories. The 03-425-200-20 is replaced with this unit. It is a filter which satisfies all the needs of water filtration.
