'The Workhorse' 32425125975 water filter, takes care of Sediment and reduces Chlorine, odor and taste, together with organic matter from drinking water. The CTO/2 has a capability for high dirt holding of a competent 5 micron (nominal). The CTO/2 filters are suited best for places where a need is found for activated carbon filters plus a sediment purifier.

The process of extrusion in filters, allows the fabrication of activated carbon block with more quantity of carbon in it, while keeping the pressure drop at a lower level. This filter delivers an extended service life but will efficiently be removing chlorine, odor, taste, and sediments contaminates from water and aqueous solutions.

A wider size unit provides more service. These filters may be used in residential water purification systems, or in pre filtration and post RO water systems, commercial, industrial food service units.

Filters for the CTO/2 series are produced with Steam Activated Acid Washed carbon which is highly effective and pure. Due to the deficiency of carbon fines and its great dirt holding capacity, this is considered the 'filter of choice'. These cartridges provide an excellent price versus performance value, and give an excellent overall performance.

The KX Industries CTO/2 comes with a nominal 5 micron filtration and an absolute 10 micron filtration. More filtration of fine particles would occur with a filter that has a lower micron rating. It is a highly efficient sediment carbon filter that offers an adsorptive capacity which is very high . Performance of Kx Industries filtration products are verified and tested in Independent Laboratories, and CTO/2 series filter are certified by NSF for material requirements under NSF/ANSI Drinking Water Standard 42.
