Carbon filters as we know it, are Granular Activated Carbon GAC based. This CTO/2 is somewhat different. It is a carbon block filter with superior performances. The cartridge is formed with a design similar to a thick walled pipe, known as extrusion process, where force is used to let the water pass from the outside to the inside, all within the absorbent wall. Contaminants are absorbed during this special process, and the sediment particles are filtered, resulting with refined final fresh drinking water.

CTO/2 series filters have a broad spectrum capability to effectively reduce chlorine and chemicals, which are of the main reasons for bad taste and awful odor in potable water.

The main advantage of 3225012520 water purifiers is to get purified water faster than other GAC granular activated carbon water filter applications. This filter has the capacity to reduce or remove chlorine, bad taste and odor inline with high dirt carrying capacity and sediment purification of a nominal 5 micron filer.

Kx Industries, the manufacturer of this filter, provided this to work where a sediment and carbon GAC filter is required. They can be suited for use in commercial, residential and industrial, food service applications. The Kx CTO/2 series was tested & certified under NSF/ANSI standard 42 for drinking water, for materials used in manufacture of this unit. With the extrusion process used in its manufacture, it allows reduced production of carbon together with a lower pressure drop. This filter delivers an extended life together with the high removal capacity of taste and odor, contaminates and chlorine.

High clarity acid washed activated carbon used in the manufacture of the CTO/2 cartridges, increase the capacity of dirt holding and the removal of small carbon fines, making it one of the best filter. Replaces 03-250-125-20. The carbon replacement cartridges are made with integrity and provide high performance, which makes it the most exceptional item with good performance and cost value.
