Cyst, Lead, Turbidity, Chlorine, Odor and Bad Taste Reduction, the KX Technologies PB1 carbon block water filter uses activated carbon as the primary material in point of entry and point of use, for effective control over all impurities that might reside in drinking water. The most remarkable thing of activated carbon is its broad spectrum capacity which enables it to absorb organic chemicals, chlorine disinfectant, which may also cause bad taste in water.

The KX PB-1 06-250-125-20 carbon block water filter is one of the most widely used carbon block filters in the world. This filter is regarded to be amongst the most efficient and multifunctional cartridges that can be used for both residential as well as commercial water filter systems.

PB1 06-250-125-20 carbon water filters are made out of extruded activated carbon that has the capacity to remove soluble lead present in drinking water. It reduces soluble lead with the help of an ion-exchange filter medium which have greater specificity. The cartridges are usually in the form of a thick wall pipe where the water is forced to get passed through the exterior to interior porous wall. During this process, the fluid contaminate are easily removed and are chemically reacted in order to produce refined final product.

Prior to its initial use, it should be flushed with ample amount of water for at least five minutes.
