With a nominal micron rating of 0.5 and an absolute micron rating of 1, the KX Matrikx 06-250-125-975 filter offer a great cyst, lead and turbidity reduction cartridge, which is based on NSF/ANSI Standard 53. Its performance has also been tested and certified by Independent Laboratory Testing. This filter also has an ability to reduce lead form 2,500 gallons, at the flow rate of 0.75 GPM.

KX Matrikx Pb1 06-250-125-975 carbon water filter cartridge performs multiple functions to provide sparkling clear water. It is a powerful filter suitable for use in both commercial and residential water treatment systems. Its ability to reduce chlorine taste and odor from more than 6,000 gallons of water at the rate of 0.75 GPM makes it the Premier Performer.

Pb1 Matrikx 06-250-125-975 filter is made from extruded activated carbon which successfully eliminates lead soluble from the water using ion-exchange filter media. This media has a very high specificity for the soluble lead. Its particular filtration feature is used in order to intercept the insoluble lead particles. The 06250125975 carbon filter also offers high chemical reduction ability. It is also able to successfully remove chlorine taste and odor from potable drinking water.

The + Pb-1 06-250-125-975 water filter also has a special feature of reducing turbidity and cyst from the water. It meets the NSF/ANSI Standard 53 due to its ability to eliminate microorganisms like Entamoeba, Giardia, Toxoplasma and Cryptosporidium. Its graded density filtration along with high dirt holding capacity of extruded activated carbon provides a much longer lifespan to the filter than any other molded filters.

It has specifically been instructed by KX technologies, formerly Kx Industries LP, that the filter only be used with water that is safe microbiologically and has been disinfected adequately. This is especially important because the activated carbon filters would not remove or kill viruses and bacteria completely. The 06-250-125-975 filters should be replaced in accordance with the water filter system instructions only. Also, it is important that these carbon block filters must not be steam sterilized or autoclaved.
