A High Capacity Sweeter Taste Filter. These Carbon block filters not only reduce the bad odor and chlorine from filtered water, but also introduce a sweet taste to the purified drinking water. It is made from the coconut shell carbon and stimulates a sweet taste in the drinking water. It is apt for chemical adsorption such as VOCs, as well as other particles that may be present in the water.

The Plus 5 KX industries 02-425-125-20 water filter has a Nominal Filtration of 2 micron and absolute filtration of 5 micron. It reduces both VOC and TOC with efficiency and also has a lofty capacity to reduce chemicals. It also features a high turbidity reduction. This filter has the ability to reduce chlorine taste and odor from 42000 gallons of water at the flow rate of 7 GPM, as well as an ability to reduce chloroform of 3500 gallons at 3.5 Gallons per minute.

The KX Matrikx +5 filter is certified for material requirements under the NSF/ANSI Standard 42 by the NSF International. It has also been verified after testing by Independent Laboratory Testing.

The pore structure of the carbon used in the KX carbon water filter 02-425-125-20 makes it the apt filter for chemical adsorption. This filter provides a nominal particulate filtration of 2 micron and also has an extended life as a sediment filter. Its service life is particularly extended due to the pre-filtration mediums outer layer. It is best for the residential and commercial food service applications as well. The most important task of the 02 425 125 20 filter is to perk up the water's taste.

NOTE: KX drinking water filters should not be steam sterilized or autoclaved. It should be used to filter microbiologically safe water only, or the water which has been disinfected adequately. This is due to the fact that carbon filters are not able to remove or kill all viruses and bacteria. The sweet taste filter, as it is popularly known, should be used keeping in mind the housing system instructions only. The filter cartridges should be flushed with water for 5 minutes minimum before using.
