Sweeter Taste. This filter is constructed from coconut shell carbon and induces a sweet taste into treated water. A fitler that efficiently removes High Turbidity from water, together with chlorine, bad taste and odor. The 02 425 125 975 filter provides Two micron filtration (nominal) and is a an absolute 5 Micron carbon/sediment filter.

The outer media for pre-filtration of this cartridge extends its service life greatly. It's suited ideally for food service and for various residential water treatment applications. The primary objective of this water filter is improving taste of the drinking water. Its superior performance has been validated by Independent Laboratory Testing. This carbon filter also has been certified under standard 42 drinking water NSF/ANSI code, by NSF International for material requirements.

While the basic fiber used to manufacture it is Polypropylene, it includes a layering of granular activated carbon particles. At the outer surface, polyester is spread out in the form of a net. This makes it stronger against sediments accumulation. Its porous form structure absorbs the chemical impurities to a great extent. Since this purifiers structure is unique, KX industries carbon water filters are amongst the apt filters for chemical adsorption. Service life for this drinking water fitler is extended due to the outer layer pre-filtration mediums. This is known as 'A Sweeter Taste' water filter since it enhance the drinking water's taste.

KX industries carbon filters shall not be autoclaved or steam sterilized. Only micro-biologically safe water shall be used with this filter, or adequately disinfected water. Carbon / Sediment water filters are not intended solely to remove or kill ALL bacteria and Viruses. The 'Sweeter Taste Filter' as with other carbon filter cartridges, shall be flushed with water for 5 minutes minimum prior to initial use.
