A unique water filter constructed from coconut shell carbon. It induces a sweet taste into the water. Due to the unique pore structure of the carbon, it is best suited for chemical adsorption. It efficiently removes High Turbidity and VOCs along with chlorine, bad taste and odor. The KX 02 250 125 20 filter provides a 2 micron nominal filtration as well as an extended life as fine carbon/sediment filter.

The outer pre-filtration media of the filter greatly extends its service life. It's ideally suited for food service as well as residential applications. The primary objective of this filter is to improve the taste of the water. Its working and performance has been tested and approved by Independent Laboratory Testing. This filter has also been certified under the standard 42 NSF/ANSI by NSF International for material requirements.

Since this filters pore structure is unique, the KX carbon water purifier makes it the apt filter for chemical removal and adsorption. This carbon filter provides a particulate filtration of nominal 2 micron and has an extended life as an absolute 5 micron sediment filter. Service life for this fitler is particularly extended due to the outer layer pre-filtration mediums. It may be used in residential and various commercial food service applications as well. This filter is known as 'A Sweeter Taste' filter in order to enhance the water's taste.

Please Note: KX drinking water carbon filters shall not be steam sterilized or auto-claved. They shall be used to filter only micro-biologically safe water, or water which has been adequately disinfected. Sediment/Carbon water filters are not to be used solely to remove or kill ALL viruses and bacteria. The 'Sweeter Taste Filter' should be used while keeping in mind the filter housing system instructions have to be followed too. As with all carbon filters, the filter cartridges should be flushed with water for 5 minutes minimum before initial use.
