The Chlorine Guzzler plus Chloroform, Taste and Odor. This filter is specifically designed in order to serve various intricate water purification related requirements. It is manufactured with the help of polypropylene; the purifier body comes in the perforated pipe like appearance with flexible end caps. Netting has been done to the outer surface of cartridge to enhance its strengthening properties.

Filtration functioning of the 01250125975 is similar to that of GAC water filters as it also contains granular activated carbon that purifies water through the suspension of carbon particles. But in GAC water purifiers, the user has to be careful regarding the passage of carbon particles into the water. This purifier is free from any such worry as the cartridges do not allow the passage of any of the carbon activated granules through the filtration net.

Along with GAC filter, an additional pre sediment filter is placed inside the media, that increases the life of the filter as well as makes the procedure of filtration more effective and comfortable. Its 0.6 micron rating ensures the proper filtration of fine silt and bacteria out from the water. Since the filters of KX Matrikx 01-250-125-975 water purifiers are capable of accumulating maximum quantity of dirt particles, the user does need not to change it often. But if there is a situation like that, they can easily be replaced by the new one. This filter has been certified by NSF standard. Its performance tests have already shown that it is completely safe for the usage for domestic and commercial purposes.
