ITT Water Equipment Technologies (known as WET) has been providing reliable water purification technology and components worldwide since it was formed as WET (Water Equipment Technologies), Inc. in 1975.
Waterlink's WET Products have specialized for many years in designing and manufacturing residential, commercial, industrial and municipal water purification systems.
Utilizing reverse osmosis (RO), de-ionization (DI), micro-filtration (MF) and nano-filtration (NF) membrane technologies, WET provides standard systems, custom-engineered systems and products/components to produce high purity or potable water from tap water, brackish and seawater, and reuse water from waste-water.
The former company was an early innovator in membrane technology systems designed to produce high purity water, purify water for reuse and create fresh water from the world’s oceans.
WET has designed, manufactured and installed desalination systems throughout North America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific Rim.
In '02, W.E.T was acquired by ITT Corporation which has greatly strengthened W.E.T.'s capabilities to provide better solutions to the global water and waste-water industry.

Provided that the three stage WET waterlink ROkit reverse osmosis pre filter gets the suggested maintenance, the RO Membrane may last for a long while.

The TFC RO Source Water Supply shall be: Private and Non-Chlorinated water, but as you use a solid carbon filter, the chlorine is probably removed prior to reaching the Membrane. Therefore there's no sediment pre filter used as stage one. If the water is full of particles, a pre filter for sediment removal is recommended, since otherwise the carbon filter will clog fast and performance will be low.
