The ECP series filters are known to be one of the most competent water filters that use pleated cellulose polyester fibers for superior performance. Whether you are looking for purifying the filtered water or removing contaminants from other fluids, ECP series filters may add value to the process and productivity of your filtration system.

The pleated design of the fifty micron filter would have 50% media surface area more than others. The material that is used in its manufacture is a blend of polyester fibers and resin impregnated cellulose. In order to provide additional strength the media is pleated around the polypropylene core and the end is immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plasti sol.

These filter cartridges provide higher wet strength compared to other similar cellulose cartridges. The flow rates are high and have greater capacity to hold dirt. It has increased particulates removal capacity, along with maintenance of low pressure drop. ECP-50-20 have a yellow color coded cap according to its rating of microns, it allows easy identification of cartridges.

Many tests show that the 255488-43 ECP50-20 sediment filters have maximum capacity for being resistant to bacteria and chemicals. The thermo setting is embedded and sealed with each end of plated block so that the components together can form a unitized end cap and gasket. This process helps to eliminate the sediments and results in a strong and durable construction of water filter. The materials that are used in the manufacturer of the end caps are vinyl plastisol.

In summary, this is a 50 micron sediment removal cartridge with a high flow rate and extremely low pressure drop. The whole performance is only possible due to the high efficiency polyester material and the pleated design, which provides it with much greater surface area.

The 50 micron filters can be easily identified by the yellow end cap that is provided according to the micron size. This is a twenty inch filter and can be used within most standard filter housings that require 20 inches length filters.
