This is a water purifier with the latest technology and design. It consists of a long cylindrical perforated pipe having two open ends fixed with pliable caps. The pipe is made up of the long lasting fiber of polypropylene that is known for its high durability and for providing low pressure drop. A coating of vinyl plasticol is designed around the propylene fiber pipe in the pleated manner. For extra strength and resistibility, this coating is further coated over by cellulose impregnated by resin. The combination of such components modifies the functions of the water purifier to a great extent.

An arrangement such as the above increases the wet strength of the water filter. As it is welded out smoothly from the inner surface, it does not disturb the regular flow of the liquid through it. Its long body and pleated design, on the other hand, blocks maximum impurities present in water even before it reaches the core base. 255487-43 ECP20-20 has more filter media than that of many other water filtration cartridges. Its surface area is about six square feet which is double than other filters.

For home, industrial and commercial purposes as well, the ECP is a better option to go for. Its bigger size and great capacity to block the unwanted particles makes it equally beneficial for the usage in factories and industries where the usage is large in number.

Pleated cellulose polyester cartridges introduced by Pentek have been around quite a while. The manufacturer itself was founded in 1986 and from that time, it has been known for its useful and reasonable products. This is the one among the various models available in the ECP series and can be used for both domestic as well as commercial purposes.
