Pentek is one of the largest manufactures of water management systems in North America. The ECP50-BB is one of the advanced and superior technological water purifiers among the ECP series. It offers a water filtration technology of better choice.
The cartridges that are used in the ECP series have pleated design and are specially formulated. The materials that are blended in the manufacture are polyester fibers and resin impregnated cellulose. The pleated designs are specially provided for higher flow rate and maximize the capacity of dirt holding along while maintaining a lower pressure drop.
The 255492-43 ECP50-BB sediment filter media that is pleated in design around a polypropylene core adds additional strength. Then both ends of the cartridges are immersed in a thermo settings vinyl plastisol to form a unitized gasket and filter end cap. The two ends are blocked by sealing and embedding. The pleated design also provides a greater surface area that is fifty percent more than other similar 50 micron rated cartridges. The polyester materials will not shrink or migrate, making it more durable and easily removable from its housing for replacing. It is not necessary to sacrifice the flow rate to get long filter runs.
The ECP series sediment filters have color coded end caps for easy identification. The material that is used in the manufacture of those end caps is vinyl plastisol. The Pentek ECP50-BB Big Blue cartridges have 18 square feet media surfaces. When it was compared with other similar rated cartridges, it had superior performance, which was only possible due to greater surface area and quality materials. It is recommended that water that has not been provided with adequate disinfectant should not be used for consumption although they were filtered with these cartridges.
The Pentek E CP 50 BB-Big Blue features color coded end caps that are yellow in color, so that they can be easily identified at a glance. This type of filter can be easily used in housings for 10 inch double-width water filters.
