There are many benefits of the specific design of ECP20-20BB. It maintains an high flow rate of water within the purifier with a low pressure drop. As the structure of the filter is about 20 inch in length, and its width is double the standard, it ends up in the filter having a large surface area. 255495-43 ECP20-20BB has about 36 square feet of media that ensures that the filtered water flows out with high and constant speed.

The ECP Series water filter cartridges are essentially manufactured using a special formulation that involves polyester fibers and resin-impregnated cellulose. Both these materials when blended together provide a high wet strength in comparison to regular cellulose cartridges. It also provides a very high flow rate as well as dirt-holding capacity. At the same time, it maintains an extremely low pressure drop.

Besides being used for purification of water, it can be used for the filtration of beverages and other liquids. It does nothing with the nutrients that are naturally present in the water and only eliminates harmful sediments from the water like particulates, silt and sand.

However, its design is also large to handle great volume. This filter has a long cylindrical structure that is designed in perforated form, that is, has two open ends. The open ends are closed up with flexible end caps and gasket. The basic component of the ECP20-20BB water purifier is polypropylene which is designed by pleats and over coated with vinyl plasticol and resin cellulose fiber. All these components are embedded in the end so that the entire structure looks more unified and combined. The internal part of the purifier is welded out so that the flow of water does not hamper due to its overlapping design. Although an excellent sediment removal filter, it is necessary to ensure the water filtered is microbiologically safe before consumption.
