The ECP series is almost similar to the R series filters, having some qualitative and magnificent progresses such as an extra coating of cellulose over the pleated design that increases the flow rate and the capacity of the filter while maintaining the low pressure drop at the same time.

The ECP water purifier cartridge is basically made up of polypropylene material. Over it, a pleated design is made. This design is made out through polyester material which is further immersed with resin-impregnated cellulose fibers. This unique but excellent combination of three materials gives higher wet strength and higher flow rate to this purifier in particular than that of others available.

Previously, the CP filters were in use until the ECP arrived. Where other standard size filters have only 4.5 square feet of surface area, the ECP50-10 has six square feet of surface area.
