The ECP series, formally known as the CP series, uses pleated cellulose polyester fibers in the manufacture, which adds value to the productivity of the filtered water. The pleated filter design increased the media surface up to Fifty Percent, and is specially formulated with resin impregnated cellulose and polyester fibers. The media is pleated around the core of polypropylene so that it can provide additional strength at the end, and is immersed in a thermo setting vinyl plastisol.

ECP cartridges provides greater flow rate and have more capability to hold dirt. It has increased ability of mineral and particulate removal along with maintenance of low pressure drop. The color coded cap makes it easy to identify the micron rating. The special combination of cellulose and polyester fibers provides higher wet strength than the regular cellulose cartridges. Many research tests show that these filters remove more fine sediment, sand, slit, scale particles from water, compared to other comparative filters.

The 20 Micron ECP filters come with blue end cap so it can be easily identified. This filter shall easily fit into most water filter housing that require a standard 10 inch filter.
