Ionac C-249 is a premium grade strong acid cation in the sodium form which will meet the most exacting requirements
of the household water treatment industry. Ionac C-249 is a bead form, standard crosslinked, styrene divinylbenzene
which has excellent stability and operating characteristics.
Ionac C-249 is specially manufactured to eliminate taste, odor, color throw, and assure compliance with the FDA
regulation, paragraph 173.25. It has been approved by the Department of Agriculture for treating water in official establishments
operating under the Federal Meat and Poultry Products Inspection Program.
Ionac C-249 is supplied in the fully swollen moist form, and is primarily utilized in the softening of water for household,
municipal, and industrial water treatment.
