The Special Sand Catcher sediment filter can be used in many applications such as:

  • Irrigation systems - sprinkler gear drives, drip emitters, spray nozzles, and solenoid valves.
  • Domestic or Commercial well water - Faucet aerators, clothes washers, dishwashers, ice makers, water softeners, toilet valves, and HVAC heat plugs.
  • Indusrial - Cooling towers, machinery cooling systems, process water prefiltration, and distribution solenoid valves.
  • Poultry and livestock - Cooling systems fogger nozzles, wash-down water valves, medication distribution systems, and drinking nipples.
    Features:
  • Centrifugal sediment separation.
  • Polyester screen mesh is easily cleaned and reusable which eliminates costly element replacement.
  • Molded PVC filter body allows glue together installation similar to standard PVD pipe fittings.
  • Clear cover for quick view of collected sediment.
  • Weather resistant materials for long life.
  • Ball valve allows for quick sediment removal from reservoir.
  • Standard 60 mesh (254 micron) or 100 mesh (152 micron) screen (other mesh sizes available too)
