Measures conductivity in the water up to 1,999 parts per million. This meter comes with calibration fluid.
The latest innovation in electrical conductivity and total dissolved solids instrumentation. All models of this line are equipped with a custom microprocessor. This guarantees much greater accuracy and linearity over the entire measurement range.
The microprocessor based primo series allows for automatic calibration. This procedure is easily done by simply pressing the button on the tester for three seconds and the display prompt will show the value of the appropriate calibration solution. Dip the tip of the electrode in the calibration solution and wait a few seconds for the value to be recognized the tester is now ready for use. Variations in temperature contributes to changes in conductivity and TDS readings by as much as two percent per degree centigrade. Primo utilizes automatic temperature compensation to produce a consistent reading at a reference temperature and to ensure that TDS readings always reflect the correct concentration.
All models are supplied with a probe and work continuously for over 200 hours on two common 1.5 V batteries. The testers are equipped with a battery error prevention system to prevent incorrect readings due to low power. When it is time to change the batteries a message appears on the LCD.
