The Activated Alumina flouride cartridge is specifically designed to remove fluorine from drinking water.

CuZn recommends using this cartridge in conjunction with a KR-101A or KR-101N in their Dual Housing Unit
This filter in conjuction with a CuZn KR-101 cartridge, uses a combination of patented trace minerals (Copper-Zinc) which has been tested to NSF standard 42 and 61, and coconut shell carbon. This CuZn combination cartridges will remove and/or reduce Nitrate, chlorine, sediment, algae, molds, scale, bad taste, odors, and other undesirable contaminants that may effect the quality of your water supply.

And unlike carbon only filters, bacteria can't grow inside the bacteriostatic CuZn filters.

This filter is maintenance free and installs in minutes, - when you turn on the cold water it's all CuZn pure!

FR-1 Cartridge will last approximately 1 year and removes 5000 ppm.
