The Series 4000 CTA under the counter reverse osmosis unit from Water Factory is a three (3) stage water system designed for use on chlorinated water systems only. CTA membranes can be used when the source water is chlorinated and you don't have more than 3 filter in the unit. A municipal or city water source is usually chlorinated. The CTA only advantage over a TFC is being chlorine resistant. Cellulose triacetate, also known simply as triacetate, is manufactured from cellulose and acetate. The Series 4000 CTA can produce up to 10 gallons of drinking water a day and can be installed to feed an ice-maker or water dispenser within your refrigerator. The minimum water pressure requirement of the Series 4000 CTA Model is 50 psi.
