The Inline Filter CL series was introduced by Omnipure 1970. This was first ever made POU (point-of-use) disposable and small filter. By employing the use of GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) Particles, Omnipure created cost-effective filtration equipment. This model is well accepted in domestic, commercial and in industrial areas as it is much cheaper than other larger filters.

The best thing about using inline Omnipure water filters is that the filter has been inculcated with other mediums which can treat specific problems of water such as presence of silt or scaling.

In the Omnipure CL- series each filter employs the use of a single spring disc that maintains ideal pressure over the medium that has to be filtered. The use of the spring eliminates use of channels and makes sure that a straight path with equal distance is created. It is also made sure that no binders or glues are used in the manufacturing process. Presence of glues and binders can sometimes contaminate the water.

The filter is also incorporated with polypropylene outlet and inlet pads which prevent the water from getting foul. Meticulously manufactured and assembled components of the purifier are such that no leak and high standard are guaranteed.

The CL-Series Omnipure inline filter is available in 6" and 10" lengths having a diameter of 2", presented with 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" female NPT. This Ten inch inline filter has filtering capacity of 1500 gallons and 16.6 Cu. Inch of volume of media. All standard media choices are available as well as custom fill options. Media choice is also available in standard as well as custom fill. The system maintenance is very easy and quick because the body of filter is designed in such a way. The Omnipure CL series filters ate thus called to be extremely reliable.

Every Omnipure Filter undergoes rigorous testing and independant verification for performance. Each filter is rated at .5 gpm with a maximum pressure 125 psi and a maximum temperature of 100°F. Every cartridge element is rated at 1.0 gpm.

Omnipure products have been tested and listed under Standard 42 for taste, odor and chlorine reduction; or particulate reduction; or have been materials certified. All filters should be installed on cold water lines only.

NOTE: Activated carbon filters are not intended to be used where the water is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit.
