The Purtrex depth filters serve as the medium to meet the market demands for the purest polypropylene depth filter. It has an outstanding dirt holding capacity and is made using the patented blown micro-fiber technology. Due to the use of this technology, the filter has longer service life and requires lesser change-outs in comparison to existing resin bonded or string-wounded filters. The Purtrex Depth filters provide an inceptive value for all general applications in which high purity and long life is required.

These Purtrex Depth Filters are easy to install and do not require any pre-rinsing before use. These filters are free from all binders and anti-static agents which eliminates the requirement for pre-rinsing. Thus, it provides foam-free and clean filtrate due to its construction from 100 percent polypropylene. The Purtrex Depth Filters provide a consistent filtrate as its thermally bonded fibers do not release any particles into the water.

Purtrex Depth Water Filters are manufactured using thermally bonded fibers and thus maintain a consistent lifetime which ends at 40 psid. The true graded density of these filters help in efficiently capturing the various particles present in water. The Purtrex Depth Filters have an exceptionally high dirt holding capability which results in saving of money as it does not need to be replaced often. These filters have a progressively higher density at the center and lower density near the surface.

The Osmonics GE Purtrex Filters are manufactured using a proven world-class process which assures reliable performance as well as repeatable results. The vacuum and thermal finishing process eliminates all possible manufacturing debris. These water filters do not contain any wetting agents, antistatic agents, solvents or binders. They can be easily incinerated to trace ash in order to dispose off easily. These filters meet the FDA requirement for beverage and food contact.

The filter cartridges of Purtrex fit most standard water filter housings due to its wide range of lengths. It is also available in custom made sizes. These filters comprise of a large number of polypropylene end adapters such as extended cores, gaskets as well as self-seal polypropylene springs patented by Osmonics. The Purtrex Depth Filters serve a large number of markets including food and beverage, metal finishing, electronics, oil and gas, reverse osmosis RO, fine chemicals, and pulp and paper.

The Purtrex Depth Filter cartridges are manufactured using thermally welded polypropylene blown micro fibers. These filter material as certified by Osmonics for successfully meeting the requirements of the Food and Drug Administration.
